First of all I hope all is well!!
I’m writing to let you know about Lina’s new home! We found a family that really knows the shepherd breed–they have one of their own currently and have had many over the years.
They work with a local dog trainer and have been doing scent work with their own shepherd. Lina’s been living there for about a month now and everything has been going pretty well. They live right in my area so I can see her whenever I want, too! I miss her every day but I’m happy that this family can provide her with so much.
We’ve had a couple of families look at her until this point and everyone comments on how mellow and well-behaved she is!!
I just wanted to thank you for everything you did for Lina and I…through this whole process I’ve really gotten to see her transform into the amazing well-behaved dog that she now is. It’s educated me so much on dog behavior, too–I never really realized what little knowledge most dog owners have on this subject.
My mom didn’t really understand any of this, either, when I tried to explain it to her until she came up to RI for that session with you that one day and she got to see the amount of respect Lina has for you.
It was then that she understood the problem is with the rest of our dogs, not Lina.
You did an amazing job with Lina and I just wanted to say thank you for everything!
You have a gift and your work is truly amazing. I’ve attached some pictures of Lina with her new sister, Ava!
