Working with dogs is nothing new to Thomas, his passion for dogs came at a very young age when for his very first birthday, his family gifted him a puppy – a Chocolate Lab named Cocoa.
The two of them were inseparable! This was the start of a strong bond forged over the next 16 years.
Having experienced such a relationship with his four-legged friend, Thomas learned the benefits of having such a companion and how it can improve the quality of one’s life.
So when the opportunity arose to become a Service Dog Trainer, Thomas took it.
He began training service dogs for deaf and disabled Americans, successfully training and graduating 4 dogs in total over a 5-year span.
For Thomas, it was and still is, some of the proudest and most selfless work he has done throughout his life.
Thomas has also volunteered his time working with organizations that rescue dogs from southern kill shelters. Here, he aided in basic training and socialization skills to help in their journey to find their forever homes.
Thomas now continues to apply his Dog Training skillset while continuously growing as an individual and Trainer with Canine Behavioral Services Inc.
