Position: Kennel Technician
Current Home: Cranston, RI
Date of Hire: May 17, 2025
Pauline originally hails from Monroe, Louisiana. Not too long after moving to Rhode Island, she secured a position here at Canine Behavioral Services Inc. in Hope Valley in May of 2025.
As far back as she can remember, since even before kindergarten, Pauline has been fascinated with animals, but even more specifically, her interest in dogs became the keen focus of her amazement.
Her entire life, well back to her youth in Louisiana, she’s been around animals. Family pets, “fostering” strays, and rescuing some on their own.
In 2024, Pauline started working with dogs at a shelter in Louisiana, where she found a more profound love for the species and the incredible fulfillment she got from improving their quality of life – including her own furry friends! 🐾
Pauline found that many shelters don’t offer training services. If they did, it was always a “one size fits all” Obedience Training style which seemed to provide little to no benefit whatsoever, to the underlying behavior problem.
And with this, she saw countless dogs losing opportunities at finding suitable homes due to behavioral issues that were typically worsened or triggered by the environment they were in.
Pauline wants to play a role in helping those dogs feel safe, make improvements with their behaviors, and be able to stay in their family’s homes!
She believes that with enough hard work and dedication, Canine Behavioral Services will allow her to be the Leader these dogs need and achieve that goal of helping you and your dog truly thrive. 🏡
