Training Program: Canine Behavior Training Program (CBT)
Hometown: Tiverton, RI
My 11-year-old Mini Dachshund, Buster had a very unhealthy attachment to me to the point where it was causing him great anxiety whenever we were around other people and animals.
After careful consideration and research, I contacted Canine Behavioral Services and enrolled in the Canine Behavior Training behavioral program.
During Brian’s first visit, after a thorough evaluation of both myself and Buster, it became clear to him that Buster would benefit from more extensive training than the In-Home Sessions could provide. Brian suggested we enroll him in the board & train Canine Behavior Training Program.
At first, I said, “no way, you can’t take my fur baby for 6 weeks”.
But Brian was so kind and understanding and after talking me off the “ledge” – he explained the reasons why this would be the best option for my poor Buster.
Well, he sure was right. The team at CBS is amazing.
They kept in touch with me, and posted pictures and progress updates throughout the whole program right on their Facebook page.
Not only did Buster come back a well-balanced, calm, obedient happy little man, but Brian continues to teach me to be the leader I need to be to ensure that Buster never has to carry the unhealthy burden again. It’s just too much for him to bear and was contributing greatly to his once extreme anxiety.
The greatness doesn’t stop there! Brian is dedicated to Buster’s success and happiness and is there to answer any questions, help me choose mind-game toys, offer training exercise suggestions and just provide overall support throughout Buster’s entire lifetime, yes I said lifetime!
Brian is truly amazing and genuinely cares about his clients both fur and human.
I can’t say enough about how extremely grateful I am to get the opportunity to work with THE BEST dog trainer you’ll ever meet. Look no further you have found the finest!
