Bear found his way to CBS in January of 2019 when his owners enrolled him in our In-Patient Behavioral Rehabilitation & Training Program.
Bear had a long, happy life with his owners, but due to unfortunate circumstances within the family, Bear regressed behaviorally and began to develop aggressive tendencies towards both people and other dogs.
We knew from the beginning that there was something special about Bear and he was simply “misunderstood”.
Fast forward to the end of Bears rehabilitation with the Pack and he has become a wonderfully balanced and happy dog! Unfortunately (at that time), even though Bear made great progress in his Training Program, due to untenable circumstances at home, his owner had to make the tough decision that she could no longer give Bear what he needed to remain balanced for the rest of his life.
After a long search for a new home for Bear with no luck, we decided to offer Bear a permanent spot in our Pack to which the owner whole-heartedly agreed. Since then, Bear has been giving back and helping his fellow four-legged friends in need of finding Behavioral Balance.
Bear has an easy going, friendly energy that helps his fellow “students” feel relaxed and at ease. He is a terrific asset to our well-balanced Pack!
